BioTrack User Guide

For states that use BioTrack for trace sales reporting, an API user will need to be created in BioTrack. Please ensure the client is using the online version of BioTrack when creating the user and not the desktop version.


An API user will need to be created for BioTrack to provide seed to sale information via Shield Assure software to your financial institution.

 

  1. The user must be created in the web version of Biotrack with the following information:


Arkansas  https://arstems.arkansas.gov/

Connecticut  https://trace.ct.biotr.ac/

Hawaii  https://hicsts.hawaii.gov/

Illinois https://mcmonitoring.agr.illinois.gov/

New Mexico  nmtraceability.com 

New York https://mmp-sts.health.ny.gov/

North Dakota https://mminventory.health.nd.gov/

 

  1. Once the user has been created, the password and UBI must be entered into the API key task in Assure Client Portal. Once the following information has been entered, submit the task by clicking “Submit” at the bottom of the page. 
  • Trace ID field = enter 9+ character UBI code for your company. 
    1. The UBI code will be different for each different physical location.
  • Trace API Key field = password 
    1. The password will be the same for the same user.
